위 문장은 Simple Present.
즉, 그들이 매일 TV를 보는 것이 사실(true)임을 나타냄.

They watched television last night.
위 문장은 Simple Past.
그들이 텔레비전을 어제 봤음.(과거에…)

Regular Verbs(v-ed)

I finish the homework. -> I finished the homework.
He change his name. -> He changed his name.

Irregular Verbs

v-y -> v-ied
I study English. -> I studied English.
He try to go to sleep. -> He tried to go to sleep.
They copy the text in the book. -> They copied the text in the book.

현재 시제와 과거 시제가 동일한 동사도 있다.
let, cut, put, hit, hurt 등등…
read도 마찬가지인데 과거 시제는 red로 발음해야한다.

현재 시제와 과거 시제가 아예 쌩뚱맞은 애들도 있다.
leave -> left
write -> wrote
understand -> understood
do -> did

뭐 이렇게 쌩뚱맞게 바뀌는 애들은… 그냥 외우고, 익숙하게 하는 수 밖에 없는 것 같다.
